Is it time to upgrade
before your phone loses more value?
Discover what your phone is worth today, how quickly it's losing value, and whether you're better off selling, keeping, repairing, or upgrading.

Four questions, one smarter decision
What's my phone worth?
Private-sale, buyback and trade-in values, kept separate.
Should I sell or keep?
Weigh repairs, support and the real cost of a new phone.
Is it worth repairing?
When a fix beats a replacement, and when it doesn't.
When should I upgrade?
See how much value your phone is modeled to lose over the next year.
Don't wait until your phone loses its value.
Every phone depreciates differently. Understanding its resale value, age, and replacement costs can help you make a smarter upgrade decision.
Our model projects your phone's value 3, 6, 12 and 24 months out from its launch price, age and condition. It's an estimate, not live market data, and it never names a single "best time to sell".

Frequently asked questions
Is UsedPhoneValue.com free?
Yes. Every tool is free and you don't need an account.
Do you buy or sell phones?
No. We're an independent valuation and decision tool, not a marketplace.
How do you estimate a phone's value?
From the phone's verified US launch price for your storage size, its age today, a depreciation profile for its brand and type, and the condition you describe. It's a mathematical estimate, not a live resale quote. See How We Estimate for every assumption.
Do you use real sale prices?
When we have enough verified, dated records for your exact phone, we show them separately as a verified market reference. They're never blended into the estimate.
Why are there separate private-sale, buyback and trade-in values?
They're different markets with different prices. Averaging them together would be misleading, so we keep them separate.
Do you need my IMEI or account details?
Never. We only ask about model, storage and condition.
